Neutral ions?

The word atom means an indivisible particle and since
more than a century it has been known to be wrong basically,
because an atom has a nucleus with electrons around it.

I propose to change the name atom into neutral ion.
Compare it with positive and negative numbers and the zero.
Then the conservation law of ions can be introduced.

The conservation law of ions:

during any chemical reaction the number of all ions
of each concerned element is conserverd.
